NICE to acquire CyberTech International

NICE Systems continues its strategic acquisitions of state of the art technology worldwide.
Recently they reached agreement to acquire CyberTech International, a global provider of compliance recording solutions and value-added applications.

President and CEO, NICE systems said, "This transaction adds talent and complementary solutions, as we execute on our strategy for growth. The enhanced portfolio expands our offering with complementary compliance recording solutions with a low TCO. This combined offering will provide customers in financial institutions, contact centers and public safety with a broader combination of compliance recording, advanced application and scalability options to meet their needs. In addition the acquisition will enhance our positioning in the SMB sector as well as strengthen NICE’s presence in EMEA”.

To Racom this is a recognition of an already long cooperation while the company for years has represented CyberTech in the Norwegian and Icelandic markets and is operating a number of recording systems.

Does the new securities regulations affect your business?

The new investment regulations come into force on 01.04.2011. As a result of this the banks and investment companies have to record all customer communication in connection with investment services.

Racom have complete solutions that meet all the requirements of the new Securities Regulation. We can deliver solutions that record fixed phones, mobile phones, text messaging, e-mail and Web chat.

The recordings are stored on a 100% secure manner so that the company can be confident that the evidence is there if playback is needed.

The mobile phone traffic is only increasing. Racom solution for mobile recording consists of software installed on your mobile phone. This software automatically routes incoming and outgoing calls to the recording system. By using software routed calls, you avoid conferencing solution. The broker and the customer calls as usual, without having to do any special steps to activate recording. The broker cannot manually disable the recording function. However, an administrator can add a list that specifies the numbers (eg private), that will not be recorded. The recordings are available for search, playback and management through a simple and straightforward interface.

Racom offers two options for recording of mobile phones: the customer acquire and own the system, or hire full functionality through our hosting service. Hosting service takes place in two redundant rooms built after the National Security Regulatory specifications. This means that customers can be absolutely confident that the recordings are properly stored with Racom while storage is required. Customers can access their recordings via a VPN connection.

Ved at SW ruter samtalene, unngår man å ta i bruk konferanseløsning. Megleren og kunden ringer på vanlig måte, uten å måtte gjøre noen spesielle grep for å få aktivisert opptaket. Megleren kan ikke manuelt deaktivere opptaksfunksjonen, dvs han kan ikke selv slå av opptaksfunksjonen hvis man ønsker det.
